We get some amazing tasting beef cuts back from our butcher that didn’t quite make the cut to go into our boxes. They either aren't cut just right, mislabeled, have some packaging issues, for example the vacuum seals broken, or are just not up to our high quality of standards to ship out in our regular boxes. A lot of people don't care if their steak doesn’t look perfect, they just care about the amazing taste! That's where the Ugly Box comes into play! A lot of great beef at a HEAVILY discounted price!
When you thaw out your cuts of beef, place on a plate to avoid any spills in your fridge. Or place in a ziplock bag before submerging in water.
